Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Stowarzyszenie JCI Cracow International processes personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / RODO).
1. Controller

2. What data we process and why
- Contact form: name, email, message. Purpose: answering you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and your consent.
- Membership application: name, email, LinkedIn, age range, languages, occupation, motivation. Purpose: processing your application and membership. Legal basis: steps prior to membership (Art. 6(1)(b)) and consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
- Mentorship programme: name, email, LinkedIn, field, goals, availability. Purpose: matching mentees and mentors. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
- Event registrations: name, email and details you provide. Purpose: organising the event and sending practical information.
- Photos at events: used on our website and social media under our legitimate interest in showing our activities. You may object at any time.
3. How long we keep data
Messages: up to 12 months. Applications not leading to membership: up to 12 months. Member data: for the duration of membership and up to 5 years after, where required by accounting or legal obligations. Mentorship data: for the duration of the programme plus 12 months. Consent-based data: until you withdraw consent.
4. Recipients
Our hosting provider, our email provider (Google), and, for members, JCI Poland and Junior Chamber International for membership registration. We never sell your data.
5. Transfers outside the EEA
Some providers (for example Google) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. Write to jci.cracov@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw.
7. Cookies
This website uses only technically necessary cookies (for example to keep the site secure and working). We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. If this changes, we will ask for your consent first.
8. Photos and testimonials
Named testimonials are published only with written consent. To remove a photo or a quote, write to jci.cracov@gmail.com, naming the photo or quote.
