JCI (Junior Chamber International) is a global non-profit network of people aged 18 to 40 who develop leadership skills by running real projects in their communities, with members in more than 120 countries. JCI Cracow International is the English-speaking chapter in Kraków, part of JCI Poland.

Four levels: our chapter in Kraków belongs to JCI Poland (founded in 1989), which is part of JCI Europe, one of the four world regions of Junior Chamber International. Membership gives you access to all four levels.

A leadership development organisation first. Members learn by running projects, events and trainings. Networking and community impact follow from that. JCI is a non-profit: not a charity raising funds, and not a commercial business network.

A chamber of commerce represents companies. JCI is an individual membership organisation: you join as a person, not as a company.

Every month we run a Leadership Evening (a speaker, a practical workshop, then networking) and a Museum Wednesday to discover Kraków together. We also organise networking formats such as the Business Pop-Quiz, a mentorship programme for members, and volunteer projects where members practise leadership for real. Members also take part in JCI Poland national events.

Stowarzyszenie JCI Cracow International has been a registered association in Kraków since 2013 (KRS 0000473888). It was relaunched in 2026 as the city’s English-speaking JCI chapter.

Anyone aged 18 to 40 who is passionate about leadership and personal development: leaders, employees, entrepreneurs, freelancers and students, from any industry and any country.

English. All our events and meetings run in English, and you can take part fully without speaking Polish.

Yes. Our chapter was created precisely for an international audience. Many members moved to Kraków for work or studies.

Five steps: attend one of our open events, send the online application, meet the board for a short conversation, pay the annual fee, then join the onboarding session and your first project. It usually takes about a month.

No. Our members include employees, entrepreneurs, freelancers and students.

Yes. Paid members can book one-to-one sessions with our volunteer mentors in leadership and entrepreneurship. See the Mentorship page.

Of course. We host open events throughout the year so you can drop in, network and feel the atmosphere before deciding anything.

Yes. There is no exclusivity, and many members belong to other networks.

The annual fee is set by the board and shared during your recruitment meeting. You can ask us any time through the contact form.

It is up to you. Most members come to one or two events a month, roughly 2 to 6 hours. If you take on a project or a role, count a few extra hours per month. There is no minimum attendance.

Usually about a month: one open event, the online application, a short conversation with the board, then the annual fee and onboarding.

Membership is voluntary. You can leave at any time by writing to us, and we will remove you from our member lists.

Each event on the Events page has its own registration link. Places are limited for workshops, so register early.

Yes. Members can attend the JCI Poland national convention, the JCI European Conference, the JCI World Congress and events of other chapters.

Our open events, including the Leadership Evenings, are free of charge. Registration is required because seats are limited. If a special or partner event has a fee, it is always shown clearly before you register.

Yes, open events are open to everyone. Ask your guest to register with the event link so we can keep a seat for them.

Smart casual is perfect for most events. Come as you would to an after-work meetup.

Leadership Evenings take place at Quo Vadis, ul. Długa 53A, a few minutes from the Main Square. Museum Wednesdays and partner events happen at different venues across Kraków. The exact address is always in the event description.

At least twice a month: a Leadership Evening and a Museum Wednesday, plus member meetings and occasional special events.

Photos are taken at most events and may be used on our website and social media. You can opt out on the day or ask us to remove a photo at any time by writing to jci.cracov@gmail.com.
